Atmosphere has an enormous influence on how expensive an image feels.

Haze can separate a subject from the background. A carefully positioned light ray can give an existing light source direction. A foreground reflection can create depth. Subtle glow can make practical lights feel richer. A controlled flare can completely change the energy of a frame.

Normally, achieving these effects practically can mean haze machines, additional lighting, modifiers, glass, prisms, extra crew and additional time on location.

TRU°ATMOSPHERE gives you another opportunity to build those elements during post-production.

It doesn't replace good photography or good lighting.

BUILT TO SPEED UP THE EDIT

Instead of searching for individual assets, creating effects from scratch or repeatedly rebuilding the same Photoshop techniques, the core atmospheric tools are already in one place.

Choose an appropriate asset, place it into the composition, blend it into the existing light and refine it to the image.

This can turn effects that might otherwise require lengthy masking, painting and experimentation into a much faster part of the creative workflow. This is particularly useful when working through larger commercial sets or editorial series where a consistent visual language needs to carry across multiple photographs.

Because the effects can be built in Photoshop layers, you retain control over positioning, opacity, colour, masking and intensity throughout the edit.
